About us

Piroska Savany is a registered architect in the State of New York/US, and in Hungary/EU. She was educated in Hungary („Ybl Miklós” School of Architecture), in France (École Superieure des Beaux Arts of Paris), in Italy (Universitá dell’Architettura di Venezia) and in the United States (Columbia University, Scool of General Studies and Graduate School of Architecture in New York City), where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture Degree in 1975.
After working for Construction Metallique Fillod in Paris, Cappai + Mainardis Architects in Venice, and Skidmore Owings + Merrill and Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York, she established her own practice in 1977 in New York City. In 1990 she moved to Budapest, Hungary where she continued her own practice under the name of Studio Savany first, and Savany + Partners Architects at present. Her son, Adrian Savany who also is an architect, is presently her partner in the firm. |
